I struggle with some films that have been adapted from books but this did not disappoint.
I initially read The Green Mile as a set of several short chapter style books, and really enjoyed the book. I was even more delighted when i watched the film and found that it stuck to the book in all ways. Yes it was quite a long film but frankly was worth the extra time to be so true to the book. Excellent portrayal of all the characters - a must watch !
