A look at the beginnings of of Navajo Silver

This book is worth owning, a well researched review of the genesis of Navajo silver as well as having a very readable narrative style.

A record of Silversmiths in 1939

This is not a "how-to" book, but a documentation of the development of Native American jewelry in the Southwest. An excellent background and history book once you become a dealer or silversmith yourself.
