Colleen Coble has my attention from the very first chapter and keeps me interested for the rest of the book - so much that I don't want to put it down.

Great Read

Colleen Coble is a fantastic author. This book was just like the others of hers that I have read. Very hard to put down. I loved it!

Life in a Lighthouse

This mystery, set in Michigan's upper peninsula, could easily be transplanted into Northern Ontario. The landscape and dense forests, and the Finnish community remind me of life in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.
A lost child, a search and rescue dog, and an abandoned mine show up in this book as well, but it is well done and interesting.
As a Finn, I think Mrs. Coble portrayed us fairly and accurately. As in most of her books, she keeps you guessing who-done-it, till the end.

Loved It!

This is the first book in the Rock Harbor Series, by Colleen Coble. it was so great. A plane went down with Bree Nicholls' husband and son. She is determined to at least find their bodies if she can't find them. So with her rescue dog by her side, they go searching for them and uncover more than they thought they would. I couldn't put this book down.
