A Most Important Book

Everyone who is interested in better health and a happier life needs to read this book. Dr. Walker presents an impressive body of research on the importance of sleep and the consequences of too little. He presents convincing evidence that our modern, technological life has led to a sleep deficit in virtually all of the developed world, costing business and government millions of dollars in lost efficiency, as well as costing all of us the good health and happiness we should enjoy. We all sleep much less than we did just 100 years ago. Our bodies evolved for over 3 million years to need 7 to 8 hours of sleep per night. And we are seriously short-changing ourselves.
