Show Synopsis

A cross between the works of Caleb Carr and Thomas Harris, "The Widow Killer" is the chilling new book by one of Europe's most acclaimed novelists. Pavel Kohout has written a steely, suspenseful piece that will rank as perhaps one of the last important works from one of World War II's direct eyewitnesses.

Good period piece on the end of the Nazi occupation of Prague. Mystery was also good. Got bogged down at the end. Mysteries should accelerate at the end - you should want to turn the page. The pace was good at the beginning and middle with some good twists, but at the end I couldn't wait for it to be over. Pretty gruesome ending too.
