Wanna really LIVE? Read this book.

WOW. This book completely surprised me. It is about so much more than the title implies. It is about everything that matters! Who God is, His plan for us, and how wild and exciting He is. Its about life, our pain and our happiness, our hearts, our desires, our purpose. It crumbles many of the small, weak ideas that people have made Christianity into. For that reason alone you should read this book. If you would live the bigger, more compelling Faith, then read this book. If you would strip away your blindness to the devil's deception, read this book. If you would seek revelation of the heart of God and His passion, read this book. If you would have a more accurate view of the most vital aspects of Christian faith, then for the sake of all that is good, read this book!

I have read many books on Christian living and faith, and I consider this book, along with Desire (also by Eldredge) to be two of the most powerful, paradigm shifting texts one could ever read, except for the works of C.S. Lewis.

His great love for us!I

I wept as I read this book. It described the struggle we sometimes feel, when God seems far away and hard to connect with. It helped me to see God's incredible love for me and that my feelings were not alone. You must absolutely read this book, as it will draw you into the love of the Father's heart as none I have ever read. The authors use quotes from other sources that sometimes is more confusing than helpful, but the overall content of the book is amazing. These authors approached genuine heart feelings that most do not dare to address. You will love this book.
