FINALLLY A Book That Get's ME!!

For years I've lived with the thought that there must be something wrong with me. I LOVE being around other people but then I feel so exhausted after I've been with a big group of folks and could never figure out why. I do better in small group settings but on the flip side I've allowed my thoughts to dictate the direction that I've taken far too many times. While reading "The Powerful Purpose of Introverts: Why the World Needs You to Be You" I gained a much clearer picture of myself in that there really is nothing wrong with me but the tools that I needed to succeed were right here, in the book, for the taking! I am very analytical and will sit an listen to others because they need someone to listen. Being more of an introvert allows me to do just that. Listen. Then empathize. Most importantly for me - it's OK that I prefer quiet solitude for things. It's OK that I don't need that big group of people around me. "The Powerful Purpose of Introverts: Why the World Needs You to Be You" is EXACTLY the book that we all need to read to help put a stop to the insanity that we see going on around the world today. If we all knew more, we would think more and work together. Especially as an introvert - we have the ability to work to solve problems, create ideas for change and make that change happen. How exciting is that?
