The Perks of Being a Wallflower

by

Show Synopsis

This haunting novel about the dilemma of passivity vs. passion marks the stunning debut of a provocative voice in contemporary fiction. This is the story of what it's like to grow up in high school. More intimate than a diary, Charlie's letters are singular, hilarious, and devastating.

brilliant

absolutely fell in love with this book. raw, pure, and honest, it was most relieving to read a book that illuminates the often unspoken trials and tribulations of being an american teenager.

YA title

My grandson did not bother to read the book and I do not have access to it so I don't know why it was of so little interest.
