Dr. Robert Svoboda has offered an amazing resource; valued in so many ways. The Greatness of Saturn is a wonderful resource for some of the lesser known mythology around the Navagraha (9 planets) and specifically Saturn. Although focused on Jyotish (Vedic Atrology), the book will allow anyone from any astrological preference to cultivate a deeper relationship to Sani (Saturn). The energetics of this planet are universal and found everywhere. As well, this book provides an excellent bridge into Jyotish and some very common themes found within, either for someone new to the topic or for even a more advanced student of Jyotish. I was informed of this book via, another amazing resource for the same type of stories and knowledge. With the combination of Histrorical/Living Mythology, Science of Jyotish, and overall spiritual and energetic healing for relationship with Saturn, I cannot recommend this enough. In my opinion, anyone would benefit from this book, be that person an Astrologer, Yogi, or just curious.

a valuable book

a valuable book in more ways than one. This book can change your karma. It is a reading meditation, (sort of like a walking meditation) on the theme of the planet Saturn, ideal for those enduring Saturn transits of all kinds.
