Curmudgeon

While the artistic talents if Nguyen are fully appreciated and on display in the background scenes, the depiction of individuals remains minimal; i.e., the facial features of various characters remain too similar, the body types--with some notable exceptions--resemble one another, and abbreviated text is awkward lacking the flow of the book, "Outlander."

Not what is seems

The book was in great condition but what the book is about is only a part of the first book and it really does not give you any new information. If you just want to see her idea of what Claire and Jamie look like then ok but otherwise a waste of money.

Recieved the book

Upon arrival found The Exile to be pretty much a comic book in a hard cover, the graphics are artistic and beautiful, but not the format for a grand novel series such as the Outlander series. It is suppose to be Jamie's view of the early events, but I've not found it anymore his view or any of the other characters, I'm pretty disappointed in this one, but I'm still eagerly anticipating the next in the Outlander series....
