Christian existentialist thinker Paul Tillich describes the dilemma of modern man and points a way to the conquest of the problem of anxiety. failure

In 1969 I was failing out of graduate school and a counselor gave me this book to read.
It also got me through the rough times later. If existence preceeds essence then the courage
to be is the ultimate goal. I would recommend this book to anyone suffering from physical or mental pain.
