Football and Much More

A young black man finds himself without a home, or family, in the South. Because he is seen with real potential by a high school coach (mostly due to his size), he is enrolled in a christian school . Coach is hoping for a winning football season "featuring" Big Mike.
When a Christian woman and her family let the young man spend a night in their home "out of the rain", they learn he is living on the streets.
The family finds this unallowable and make room for "Big Mike" in their home and their hearts.
Mike becomes a member of the family, and may be headed to college because of this.

What makes this movie so wonderful--it is all TRUE ! This is the story of football great, Mike Ohr.
