Useful material, but you have to work for it.

For a guide to college success, this book leaves something to be desired in organization and formatting. Headings and subheadings are sometimes confusing and topics sometimes run into each other haphazardly. However, and fortunately, the content of the book is substantial and useful. Initially 3 stars, I was moved to increase my rating to 4 stars simply because I learned such a great deal of very useful material from this deceptively bland-looking book. There is also a well-stocked companion website.
