A handful of part time soldiers unwittingly turn a field exercise into a miniature war in this offbeat action drama from writer and director Walter Hill. That excalated quickly

If you're in the army and ever wondered why you don't go on more maneuvers in the local area; "Southern Comfort" will explain to you why.

If you're a civilian, then this movie will reinforce every single negative stereotype you have ever come across regarding soldiers.

Either way, it's a fun flick.
