Show Synopsis

From the time he was a small boy, Wilson Bentley saw snowflakes as small miracles. And he determined that one day his camera would capture for others the wonder of the tiny crystal. Bentley's patience and determination revealed two important truths: no two snowflakes are alike; and each one is startlingly beautiful. Full color.

She loved it!!

I purchased this book for my 9 year old niece. I am trying to teach her about science and scientists and she loved it!

She read it one day and gave me a book report afterwards. It's a Caldecott winner, so we already know it's a wonderful book.

It is great for almost all ages of children who want to know more about snow and snowflakes.

Great family fun!

Wonderful exposition and beautifully illustrated

I am very picky about the books I buy/borrow for my children, and this one is wonderful. It's a real life woven into a beautiful story. It's imaginative and totallly appropriate for children of all ages.
