Budding Filmmaker's Little Helper

This book is filled with not only the history of film but how film has become relevant and how it has changed over the years. It never feels like you're reading a textbook or some encyclopedia because everything is written quite well. This book is filled with industry Tricks of the trade and why they are important and how they enhance movies.
I think everybody who wants to be in the film industry should take a look at this book.
