another classic by this author

This book contains the poetic and simple yet appealing strory most books by this author do. The illustrations are easily identifiable for young readers, but the story can suit children ages birth through 5. It is also useful for beginning readers as the words are relatively easy to read.
The story itself consists of a day in the life of some animals on a sleepy farm. While there is no real plot it provides animal sounds and appropriate placements to make connections in the mids of little ones just learning about animals.
