Directed by Rob Reiner and co-written by his son Nick, Being Charlie centers on the eponymous 18-year-old (Nick Robinson) as he drifts in and out of rehab clinics for drug addiction, while his actor-turned-politician father (Cary Elwes) runs for governor of California.
