Excellent historical material

This was recommended to me by a friend who is a musicologist specializing in medieval music. I found it fascinating and plan to read it again. Then I referred it to friends who teach Cultural Perspectives (Western Civ) and they have loved it. If anyone has an interest in Aristotle and his introduction into the Catholic church, this is the best source I have ever seen. Great read.
